Glenna has been a student of the dharma for 22 years and is a dedicated student of Mingyur Rinpoche, and his brothers, Tsoknyi Rinpoche and Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. She has been on the Yongey Foundation Board since its beginning. She is the long-time executive assistant to Pema Chodron. Glenna spends her free time as a ‘plein air’ artist showing exclusively in Steamboat Springs. For the past 40 years, she has been a real estate broker in Steamboat Springs where she lives with her husband, Tim Olmsted, and their dog Mr. Pounce.
Josh is a communications and public relations professional. He is the founder of Baron Communications. Josh is a long time practitioner, (was once a Zen monk), and has been instrumental in the successful publication of Mingyur Rinpoche’s books.
A long time student practitioner, Edwin is the Executive Director of Tergar International. He lives with his wife, Myoshin, (one of the Tergar Instructors), in Minneapolis, MN., where they lead the active Tergar community. Before joining Tergar, Edwin served for 7 years as the director of the Insight Meditation Society (IMS), in Barre, MA.
The Ven. Tsoknyi Rinpoche:
Tsoknyi Rinpoche is Mingyur Rinpoche’s brother, and a brilliant teacher who teaches around the world. He lives in Kathmandu, Nepal, and is responsible for over 3500 nuns who of the Tsoknyi Rinpoche in Tibet and Nepal.

Lama Tashi (Tsewang Rinzing Lama):
Tashi is a much loved member of Tsoknyi Rinpoche and Mingyur Rinpoche’s worlds. Tashi grew up and trained at Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling in Kathmandu, and for the past 20 years has travelled and worked tirelessly in to support and support Tsoknyi Rinpoche activities.
Khenpo Kunga began his education at Tergar monastery when he was young, studying the rituals, prayers, and traditional practices of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. At fifteen, he entered an extended meditation retreat and spent three years mastering the profound contemplative practices of the Kagyü lineage. Following this period of intense meditation practice, he entered the renowned Dzongsar monastic college near Dharamsala in Northwest India. After studying there for eleven years and receiving his Khenpo degree (roughly equivalent to a PhD), he taught at Dzongsar college for three additional years. Kunga has taught in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States as one of the main teachers for the worldwide network of Tergar Monasteries, Meditation Centers, and Meditation Groups.
Acharya Lama Chhewang Thile (Lama Trinley) began his education at Tergar Monastery, where he studied the rituals, prayers, and other traditional practices of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He entered the traditional three-year retreat when he was seventeen years old, after which he spent six years training in the monastic college of Tergar Monastery, where he taught for three years as assistant professor. He has been the resident teacher at the Tergar Meditation Center of Phoenix since November, 2007.
Alex Halpern LLC:
Alex has been a practicing Buddhist for nearly 40 years. He has helped establish a variety of Buddhist communities, including Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s, Pundarika Foundation. He has practiced law in Colorado since graduating from the University of Denver College of Law in 1976.
Tim has been a student of the Dharma for the past 35 years. In 1981, he moved to Nepal to study with Mingyur Rinpoche’s father, Tulku Urgyen, and stayed for 12 years. He founded the Yongey Foundation in 2003, is the past President and is also a Tergar Instructor. Tim has been the director of Gampo Abbey, the Buddhist monastery in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He is also the founder and president of the Pema Chodron Foundation. Tim and Glenna live in Steamboat Springs with their dog Mr. Pounce.
